Brush With Death
It sounds dire, but the outcome was good. While recovering from health issues, Mark produced this decidedly intimate painting. He went deep into his being to find the ultimate in an art critic.

Making this poster was a lot of fun, celebrating the Salmonfest Music Festival in Alaska. He learned a lot about salmon. Alaska sounded really inviting as we had a long spell of a triple digit heat wave this summer.

Mark was approached by the art director of an upcoming TV series based on the "Twisted Metal" video game. which is just going into Post Production.  See the Imdb link for more about the show.

Mark's "Tamarack" music festival poster from 2001 will appear in the bar scenes. We had to sign a contract to release it to be used.Our Musician friend John Nyman asked to use "Illusions of Reality" for an album cover. The signs on the cover were changed to the titles of the songs.

Mark's "Sharing the Wealth" will appear in an upcoming book , "Pop and Art"  featuring Def.p. and the beat busters, a top shelf pop star/rapper  from the Netherlands and many other musicians share their favorite  artists. He chose Mark.

A big project has been brewing for a while. Below a link to a tiny preview video of the "Mark Henson Experience #1" which is being produced by Maracuja for use with 3d virtual reality devices. It is followed by the Mark Henson Experience #2, which will be available soon.

This would be the best time to see Mark's original paintings in all their glory.
The first showings will be private affairs but you can sign up to be on the exclusive list. The show will be up for quite a while. The details will be forthcoming as soon as everything is perfect.

Last but not least, "The Book"
Mark is working on his book! New programs to learn, new hardware. He may only make one in his lifetime so it will be a doozy.  He's deep in type face,  getting the images perfect. We will self publish. Hopefully we can keep the costs down. We will probably offer up a way for you to help the effort, pre-subscribe or something. More as we get closer to having it finished.
